About Me

My real estate journey doesn’t start till 2013. Until then I was a Wall Street geek, a bond and derivative trader for 25 years. When I left Wall Street in 2010, I expected to be done with the investment business. My life took some twists and turns between 2010 and 2018. The loss of my wife to cancer, starting and building a successful real estate business on Long Island, and a major heart attack and the ensuing emergency open heart surgery all happened. There’s a child with brain cancer and the opening of two restaurants in there as well. Those are stories for another time. In 2017, my kids and I built a team to raise a sizeable sum for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society. That experience moved me into an attitude of service. The idea that if I can do something I’m supposed to.

The heart attack told me to try to take is easy, so I took it on the lam to Costa Rica for a year, in 2018, thinking I might retire. But missing my kids put me back in the US – in the Boulder area to be near my kids again.

In 2019 my Colorado real estate career picks up the thread. I started diligently studying the local rental market. I realized quickly that while many, many investors focus on cashflow, the metric investors should be looking more closely is Return on Equity (ROE). This realization uniquely qualifies me to help you build wealth, even if you aren’t an investor per se. The methods that I’ve learned and can impart to you will help you be a savvier home buyer, and maybe a multiple property owner.

I do this because I don’t want you to make the mistakes I made, plain and simple.

I want you to be done with your chosen career as soon as possible, if you want to.

That’s the story or how I got here, and why I want to help you succeed in your real estate goals.

Hit me up for a 20 minute discovery call, let’s see if we can work together.

Before we work together, let’s just have a call to see if we are Sympatico.

Buying or selling a home is one of the most stressful transactions most people undertake.

A lot of emotion, a lot of numbers, and a lot of personalities to manage.

My job is to navigate my clients through those weeks of ups and downs during the transaction while allowing them to focus on moving their family.

While I focus on the details of the contractual transaction. I take this responsibility seriously. My skills were honed on Wall Street, on trading desks in the 80s, 90s and 2000s. After Wall Street I sold residential real estate on Long Island covering both investors and retail. My most recent positions here in the Colorado included:

Brokering hard money for fix and flip investors.

Acquisition manager for a real estate investment company.

Analyzing, and helping investors to buy and sell rental properties.

Let’s have a 20 minute discovery call to see if it makes sense for us to work together.

It is a small world after all. Globalization is that great process that started perhaps with Mr. Marco Polo, but has since regained its prestige after a short stint of protectionism following the great.
